Upgrading the technology that runs your business could mean the difference between keeping the status quo and boosting sales. In line with their commitment to empower businesses through technology, Microsoft, together with its Certified Partner for Learning Solutions namely Fast Lane (which bought CEO IT), brought Erdal Ozkaya, one of their top global IT experts to share expertise to existing and potential SME members of Microsoft Philippines Enterprise Partners during an MVP Led Community Event.

Erdal Ozkaya is one of Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professionals (MVP) and an expert in several Microsoft products such as Active Directory, and Windows Client and Server. During the forum, Ozkaya shared his knowledge and expertise on the importance for SMEs and local businesses to maximize and enhance their IT infrastructure with Microsoft technologies to help them achieve business growth. He also discussed how Filipino businesses can maximize leading Microsoft technologies such as Server 2012, Office 365 and Windows 8 to accelerate the achievement of their business goals through enhancing their computing and IT ecosystem.

Server 2012 and Office 365, along with the recently launched Windows 8, are part of Microsoft’s efforts to make technology affordable and available to more businesses and individuals to help strengthen their productivity and efficiency.

Server 2012 is a cloud-ready information platform that builds quick and secure data management solutions where businesses can upload, share and access big corporate files in a fast performance and hack-free security, while Office 365 is platform designed for collaboration and communication such as video conferencing, instant messaging, and easy and secure system administration management.

Windows 8 is designed to help enterprise partners strengthen the efficiency of their businesses. Another useful feature is Windows-To-Go that allows users to pack-up their entire desktop and bring it along with them on a small USB drive and access their hard drive wherever they go.

Microsoft has entered into a new age of technology and with a powerful operating system like Windows 8, and products like Server 2012, Office 365 businesses are able to strengthen their IT operations to reduce costs and deliver a whole new level of business value,” Erdal Ozkaya, Enterprise Solutions Manager at Fastlane Asia Pacific said. “It is designed to deliver the experience people love along with the enterprise-grade capabilities that will help strengthen businesses\\\’ IT infrastructure.” Continue reading Using tech for your business – Empower via Windows 8
