Turks in the technology sector met in NYC

The said program was hosted by Reyhan Özgür, Consul General of Turkey in New York, and Aykut Karaalioğlu, the founder of the “Turks in Tech” community.
The event, Turkey’s United Nations(UN) Permanent Representative Ambassador Sedat Önal Presidency Investment Office Washington Representative Necmettin Kaymaz, as well as technology sector employees, including entrepreneurs, investors and engineers.
In his speech here, Özgür pointed out that they organized many events at Türkevi, and stated that they had previously held health and wellness events within the scope of sectoral meetings. Law He reminded that
they are making programs for those working in the field.
Referring to the importance of technology in the development level of countries, Özgür stated that entrepreneurs from all fields of technology, start-up owners and many citizens working as engineers in large American companies participated in the event.
Stating that Turks working in the technology sector in the USA can contribute to their own country such as transferring experience and capital, Özgür said, “Always have our country in the back of your mind. Thinking about what we can do there will make significant contributions to Turkey.”

Teknoloji sektöründeki Türkler, ABD’deki Türkevi’nde buluştu
New York’ta teknoloji alanında çalışan Türkler, Türkevi’ndeki tanışma etkinliğinde bir araya geldi.
Söz konusu program, Türkiye’nin New York Başkonsolosu Reyhan Özgür ile “Turks in Tech” topluluğunun kurucusu Aykut Karaalioğlu’nun ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirildi.
Etkinliğe, Türkiye’nin Birleşmiş Milletler (BM) Daimi Temsilcisi Büyükelçi Sedat Önal ile Cumhurbaşkanlığı Yatırım Ofisi Washington Temsilcisi Necmettin Kaymaz’ın yanı sıra, aralarında girişimciler, yatırımcılar ve mühendislerin yer aldığı teknoloji sektörü çalışanları katıldı.
Özgür, buradaki konuşmasında, Türkevi’nde birçok etkinlik düzenlediklerine işaret ederek, sektörel buluşmalar kapsamında daha önce de sağlık ve hukuk alanında çalışanlar için programlar yaptıklarını anımsattı.
Teknolojinin ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeyindeki önemine değinen Özgür, düzenlenen etkinliğe de teknolojinin her alanından girişimciler, start-up sahipleri ve büyük Amerikan şirketlerinde mühendis olarak çalışan birçok vatandaşın katıldığını dile getirdi.
Özgür, ABD’de teknoloji sektöründe çalışan Türklerin kendi ülkelerine tecrübe ve sermaye aktarımı gibi katkılarda bulunabileceklerini belirterek, “Kafanızın bir köşesinde her zaman ülkemiz olsun. Oraya yönelik neler hayata geçirebiliriz diye düşünmeniz Türkiye’ye önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır” diye konuştu.
